Home Care for the Emotionally Ill
نویسنده
چکیده
First published in the United States, this book provides a convincing and positive approach to the home care of the psychotic and neurotic patient by friends and relatives. The key-note is that ?f hopefulness and stress is laid on the need for regarding the Patient first and foremost as a human being who though needing special care and understanding, "is not always and in every respect abnormal". How to provide security without engendering dependence and how to show sympathy without weakening self-effort, are aspects of the task which are expounded with skill and judgement.
